Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking an experienced Sr. Site Manager to lead and coordinate the installation and commissioning of complex systems at major project sites. You will oversee subcontracted teams, manage budgets, schedules, and safety programs, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

The role demands frequent travel and strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering, 7+ years of construction management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of Construction Management experience in parcel/material handling.
OSHA 30-hour safety card.

Responsibilities

Manage site operations of installation staff during construction, installation, testing and commissioning of project systems.
Serve as main contact for construction activities and assist Project Manager with budget, site practices, and compliance.
Plan development, scheduling, estimating, and staffing for pre-construction.
Coordinate IFC drawings, specs reviews, and approvals; lead constructability reviews.
Lead site coordination, meetings, and documentation with trades and vendors.
Develop and approve subcontractor schedules and scope with procurement.
Manage commissioning process and RFI flow; ensure site plans meet safety requirements.
Create, validate and close out change orders with subcontractors/vendors.
Foster a strong HSE/EHS environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
