Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH is seeking a Sr. Site Manager to lead the daily operations of installation teams on complex projects. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, site safety, and quality across mechanical, electrical, and steel work, ensuring on-time delivery.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, supervise subcontractors, and drive commissioning activities from site mobilization to demobilization, maintaining strong client relations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, or related field.
• Over 7 years of construction management experience in parcel material handling or related sector.
• Experience overseeing mechanical and electrical subcontractors in industrial renovations/buildouts.
• OSHA 30-hour safety training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site technical, contractual, budget, and schedule activities for installation subcontractors.
• Plan project development, scheduling, estimating, and staffing.
• Coordinate drawings, reviews, and approvals.
• Lead site coordination and documentation (meetings, progress reviews).
• Manage subcontractor scope, bids, and change orders.
• Develop site execution plans and manage commissioning.
• Ensure OSHA safety and a strong EHS environment.
• Lead and drive project meetings and report generation.
• Coordinate RFI process and as-built drawings.
• Manage self-perform mechanical/electrical/steel installations.
