Job summary

TriMet seeks a Senior Site and Database Reliability Engineer to build and maintain hosting platforms for Enterprise Services. You will merge site reliability with database reliability engineering, guiding architecture and standards across IT.

You will ensure scalable, reliable datastores (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and coordinate with project teams on ERP environments and integration. This is an in-person first role with some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum four years total experience in IT roles.
• Four years of UNIX/Linux or Windows server experience required.
• Two years of software development experience required.
• Two years with ERP application administration and cloning ERP environments preferred.
• Experience with IoC and desired state configuration tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain hosting environments for application and datastore hosting.
• Manage build, deployment tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring.
• Design, install, upgrade, and support Linux and Windows servers and RDBMS.
• Advise projects on risk, costs vs benefits, and technology priorities.
• Architect new solutions and drive continuous improvement in infrastructure.
