This Senior Financial Analyst role in Menlo Park supports manufacturing operations through FP&A, standard costing, reporting, and business partnership with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or a related function.
Experience with month-end close, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Support financial analysis for Menlo Park Operations by partnering with Finance leadership, Plant Controller, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
Prepare and support forecasting processes, including Annual Plans, Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), standard cost setup, and long-range planning activities.
Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, actual reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis against forecasts and plans.
Analyze manufacturing variances, including PPV, labor, overhead, inventory, and absorption performance.
Monitor manufacturing cost performance and identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
Support standard cost development, maintenance, and annual cost roll processes while ensuring accurate costing methodologies.
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to evaluate financial impact of production volume changes, material costs, sourcing decisions, and process improvements.
Coordinate audit and tax support requests in collaboration with Accounting and Finance leadership.
Create and maintain financial models, dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics to support business decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and governance requirements.
Effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
