Syneos Health in the United States seeks a Senior Site Contracts Manager to oversee budgets and clinical trial agreements for sponsor-dedicated studies. You will negotiate with major academic institutions, develop template language, and ensure compliance while minimizing risk.

Reporting across multiple therapeutic areas, especially oncology, you will lead projects, manage timelines, and mentor teammates. Proficiency in Excel and CTMS, plus strong communication, will help drive efficient CTA

Qualifications

• 4+ years building budgets and contracts from templates.
• Direct experience negotiating with large academic institutions.
• Ability to juggle priorities, lead projects, and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of clinical study protocols, timelines, and site-related milestones (e.g., SIV).
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting: Build US site budgets and study-specific budget language for Pharma & Vaccine clinical trials.
• Develop and refine templates to support consistency, compliance, and study needs.
• Lead direct negotiations with academic institutions and stakeholders.
• Draft and finalize clinical trial agreements that balance business objectives with protections.
• Conduct due diligence checks (FMV assessments and site justification reviews) when initial offers are declined.
• Determine when requests require budget or language escalation and secure appropriate approvals.
• Prioritize and lead multiple contracting projects across therapeutic areas (oncology preferred).
• Escalate risks, timeline impacts, or delays that could affect CTA execution.
• Demonstrate expert proficiency in Excel and CTMS; communicate effectively in writing and speech.
