Job summary

Banda Group International (BGI) is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day construction activities at the Savannah River Site under the Project Manager. You will coordinate subcontractors, craft personnel, equipment, and site logistics to ensure safe work and adherence to plans and schedules.

The role requires strong leadership, field supervision experience, and the ability to resolve issues with safety, quality, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred in CM/engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with field supervision.
• Experience directing subcontractors and day-to-day field activities.
• Knowledge of drawings, specs, work packages, sequencing, and field execution.
• Ability to lead, organize, and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily field construction activities, subcontractors, and site operations.
• Coordinate work sequencing, workforce, equipment, and site logistics per schedule.
• Review drawings and specifications to communicate field requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, and subcontractor performance.
• Lead pre-task planning, field walkdowns, and daily meetings.
• Identify issues and delays; communicate impacts to the PM.
• Collaborate with safety, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation and records related to job functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Attend trainings and safety briefings; perform other duties as assigned.
