Job summary

Banda Group International (BGI) is seeking a Site Superintendent in Augusta, GA to oversee daily field construction activities at Savannah River Site under the Project Manager. You will coordinate subcontractors, craft personnel, equipment, and site logistics to ensure safe, on-time completion per plans and schedules.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience with field execution and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience directing subcontractors, craft personnel, and field teams.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, work packages, sequencing, and field execution.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and hazard identification.
• Leadership and communication skills required.
• Ability to coordinate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily field construction activities, subcontractors, craft personnel, and site operations.
• Coordinate daily work sequencing, workforce assignments, equipment, materials, and site logistics per project schedule.
• Review drawings, specs, and work packages to communicate field requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, field conditions, and subcontractor performance.
• Conduct field walkdowns, daily meetings, and pre-task planning.
• Identify field issues and safety concerns; communicate impacts to PM.
• Coordinate with safety, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of job functions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
