Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks an experienced Field Engineer Lead-Civil & Site Infrastructure to support the Savannah River Site multi-year construction program.

The role will provide field engineering for civil, mechanical, piping, and site infrastructure, coordinating with Engineering, Construction, QC, and survey teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are preferred, with DOE/site experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field engineering or related industrial construction experience.
• Experience with grading, earthwork, demolition, storm drainage, sewer, water systems, or site infrastructure construction.
• Ability to read/interpret civil drawings, grading plans, specs, surveys.
• Experience coordinating between Engineering, Construction, Quality and Survey teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering support for civil/site infrastructure construction.
• Review drawings, specs, and procedures to support field activities.
• Provide technical interpretation and clarifications to Construction supervision and workers.
• Coordinate RFIs, field changes, and resolution of construction issues.
• Coordinate survey, testing, inspection, and QC requirements.
• Lead field engineering priorities and act as primary interface between Engineering and Construction.
