Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Project Manager to join our Site Civil team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with a strong foundation in land development and leadership, ready to expand project management and client-facing skills.

Lead site civil projects across public and private sectors, including residential, energy, commercial, higher education, and industrial developments. Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of site civil or land development design and construction experience.
• Experience in higher education and/or energy projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams through all phases of project delivery, including stormwater management, grading, and utility design.
• Provide technical guidance on utility and drainage modeling, ensuring practical, efficient, and constructible solutions.
• Review and oversee engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation, upholding high standards of quality.
• Permit projects through local Authorities Having Jurisdiction and State Water Management Districts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting business development and marketing for new and expanded services.
• Prepare project scopes, schedules, and fee proposals, with accountability for budgets and delivery.
• Manage projects from concept through construction completion, coordinating with internal teams and contractors.
• Participate in field meetings and provide support during construction.
• Mentor and support staff development, fostering a collaborative team culture.
