Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in land development and capital improvement project design and management.
• Professional Engineer license in North Carolina or Registered Landscape Architect license, or ability to obtain NC licensure within two months.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, budgets, and schedules.
• Experience providing technical oversight and mentorship to engineering staff.
• Experience coordinating permits, project submittals, and regulatory agency approvals.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams on land development projects including site layout, grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while supporting business development, marketing, and proposals.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Coordinate submittals and regulatory approvals with local and state agencies.
• Collaborate with Dewberry offices nationwide to expand services and strengthen client relationships.
