Job summary

Dewberry in Orlando, FL is seeking an entry-level Site/Civil Engineer to join our site/civil department. You will work on residential, multi-family, commercial and industrial site development projects.

As an entry-level hire, you will be part of a class with 0-1 year of professional experience, with opportunities for professional development and mentorship. The role emphasizes collaboration, design using Microstation/AutoCAD, and learning the latest technology to solve client challenges.

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
EIT is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Experience with Microstation/AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
Experience with Water CAD and Storm CAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

Site/civil development design items including master stormwater management systems, stormwater collection system and grading, utilities master and detailed systems and roadway design.
Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
Working on design teams for all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents, calculations and construction plans.
May also conduct code and project related research, write specifications and process permits.
