Job summary

Stantec's multi-disciplinary office in Tallahassee, Florida seeks an experienced Project Engineer - Site / Civil Engineering. This role focuses on land development and community development, with work across Tallahassee, Jacksonville, or Orlando.

Responsibilities include design and preparation of site, grading, drainage, erosion control and utility plans, plus collaboration with clients and agencies. A Florida P.E. or eligibility within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in civil/site design.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design development through sketches and models.
• Use AutoCAD / Civil 3D for site plans and grading.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal/external teams.
• Assist with project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Coordinate project specifications with construction documents.
• Perform calculations using standard software.
