Job summary

Stantec’s Tallahassee office seeks an experienced Project Engineer – Site/Civil Engineering to work on land development and community projects in Florida. The role may be based in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, or Orlando, collaborating with clients and agencies.

The position requires 6+ years in civil/site design, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and a Florida PE or immediate eligibility. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, and design software is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 6+ years of Civil Engineering/site design experience.
• Florida Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop site design through sketches, models, diagrams, and other visuals.
• Use AutoCAD / Civil 3D to create site, utility, and grading plans.
• Lead project coordination meetings with team and external consultants.
• Participate in client project meetings and manage project scope, budget, staff, and schedule.
• Coordinate project specifications with construction documents and perform calculations.
