Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Site Designer for a remote US-based role. You will work on substation and transmission line projects, performing civil site drafting, 3D modeling, and plan and profile drawings to deliver construction-ready packages.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely, complete designs. Travel to client sites as needed; strong site grading, drainage, SWPPP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science Degree in Civil or other related discipline.
• Ten (10) or more years of working in a project team environment in the civil design of industrial projects, commercial development, power delivery experience, with specific experience in site grading and drainage design drawings, erosion and sediment control plans and details, SWPPP preparation, SPCC plans, construction pads drawings, and access road plan and profile design.
• Experience in preparing, reviewing, submitting, and site related design packages for client and environmental permits from a wide variety of regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency with one or more of the following civil engineering design tools: AutoDesk Civil 3D and AutoTurn.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Work on a wide range of substation and transmission line projects and perform civil site drafting, modeling, and development work including creating 3D models, design drawings, plan and profiles, and construction ready packages.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a complete and timely design.
• Perform oversight and provide peer reviews for other civil designers for project work.
• Travel to client's sites.
