Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Site Designer to lead civil site drafting for substations and transmission projects. You will develop 3D models, plan and profile drawings, and construction-ready packages within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires collaboration with engineers and project managers, peer reviews for other designers, and occasional travel to client sites. A strong AS degree and 10+ years in civil design are essential.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Civil or drafting credentials.
• 10+ years in civil design on industrial projects with site grading & drainage.
• Experience obtaining environmental permits for client projects.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D or AutoTurn.
• Strong MS Office and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Draft civil site designs for substations and transmission projects.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure timely design.
• Provide peer reviews for other civil designers.
