Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer to lead civil and utility infrastructure design for diverse clients in Missouri.

You will plan, design, and manage projects from concept through construction, coordinating with municipalities and utilities to secure permits and ensure compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 10 years of relevant site civil experience.
• Experience with site development and utility infrastructure projects including renewable energy or transmission projects beneficial.
• Familiarity with permitting processes for traditional development and energy/utility projects.
• Proven project and task management experience.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (preferred).
• General Contractor License a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction including renewable energy and utility infrastructure.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and utilities to ensure permitting and environmental compliance.
• Perform site evaluations, feasibility assessments, and due diligence for land development and energy sites.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, drainage reports, and permit submittals.
• Develop grading, drainage, and utility layouts for large developments and power facilities.
• Collaborate with project managers to define scope, schedules, and budgets.
