The role requires PE licensure, 10+ years of site civil experience, and strong coordination with municipalities and regulators. You will oversee design through construction, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and client expectations while delivering high-quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed PE with at least 10 years of site civil experience.
• Experience with site development and utility projects, renewables a plus.
• Familiarity with permitting processes for energy/utility projects.
• Proven project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulators, and utilities to ensure permits.
• Perform site evaluations, due diligence, and feasibility for land and energy sites.
• Prepare engineering plans, drainage reports, and permit submittals.
• Develop grading, drainage, access roads, and utility layouts for large sites.
• Lead scope, schedules, and budgets with project managers.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Perform quality control reviews of contract deliverables.
