The role emphasizes planning, design, and permitting for renewable energy projects and traditional developments. The ideal candidate holds a PE license with 10+ years in site civil engineering, experience coordinating with municipalities and regulators, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 10 years of relevant experience in site civil engineering.
• Experience with site development and/or utility infrastructure projects; renewable energy or transmission exposure preferred.
• Familiarity with permitting processes for traditional development and energy/utility projects.
• Proven project and/or task management experience.
• Strong knowledge of site civil engineering principles including grading, drainage, and utility design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction, including renewable energy and utility infrastructure.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and utility providers to ensure permitting and environmental compliance.
• Perform site evaluations, due diligence, and feasibility assessments for land development and energy projects.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, drainage reports, and permit submittals.
• Develop grading, drainage, and utility layouts for large-scale developments.
• Collaborate with project managers to define scope, schedules, and budgets.
