Hanson Professional Services, Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks a Senior Site Civil Engineer with a strong civil engineering background and project delivery experience.

You will work with local municipalities, renewable energy developers, utility providers and regulatory agencies to plan, design, and execute civil and utility infrastructure projects for a diverse client base. The role focuses on site development and power-related infrastructure, including wind, solar, substations, and transmission

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 10 years of relevant site civil experience.
• Experience with site development and/or utility infrastructure projects, including exposure to renewable energy (wind, solar) or transmission projects preferred.
• Familiarity with permitting processes for both traditional development and energy/utility projects.
• Proven project and/or task management experience.
• Strong knowledge of site civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (preferred).
• General Contractor License a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction, including renewable energy and utility infrastructure.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and utility providers to ensure permitting compliance.
• Perform site evaluations, due diligence, and feasibility assessments for land development and energy projects.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, drainage reports, and permit submittals.
• Develop grading, drainage, and utility layouts for large-scale developments and power facilities.
• Collaborate with project managers to define scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Deliver designs that meet safety, environmental, and client requirements.
• Perform quality control reviews for contract deliverables.
• Coordinate with surveyors, environmental scientists, structural and electrical engineers to support integrated delivery.
