Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager to lead site activation strategies and start-up activities across therapeutic areas. You will partner with sponsors, investigators, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant study initiation and deliverables.

In this role you will mentor staff, influence process improvements, contribute to budgets and proposals, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while managing risk in a global, remote-friendly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical, biological, physical, health, pharmacy, or related science field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years CRO/pharma Start-up/Project/Site Management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational and project management skills.
• Thorough understanding of site activation, project planning and country/regional regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP, FDA/EU directives, and regulatory standards.
• Ability to make independent decisions, solve complex problems and manage risk.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder-management across global teams.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Lead study start-up and site activation activities as the accountable project owner.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to meet site activation milestones within budget.
• Analyze site activation metrics and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with project teams on site qualification, regulatory and essential document collection.
• Communicate status, timelines, risks and outcomes to sponsors and leadership.
• Ensure activation activities are tracked, budgeted and aligned with project requirements.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets and business development activities.
• Coach and mentor other Site Activation Managers and help develop SOPs and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with ICH GCP and regulatory requirements throughout activation lifecycle.
