Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start-up and site activation across complex studies. You will ensure sites are ready to begin research on schedule, while maintaining compliance and quality.

You will partner with sponsors, project teams, regulatory stakeholders, and sites to drive on-time delivery, mitigate risks, and mentor other Site Activation Managers. This remote role offers global collaboration and a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical, biological, physical, health, pharmacy, or related field; or 2-year degree + 4 years CR experience.
• Minimum seven years of CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience, start-up/PM/site management.
• Strong leadership and project management skills; cross-functional collaboration.”

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee study start-up and site activation activities across assigned projects.
• Serve as primary contact for site activation deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical path activities on time and within budget.
• Monitor site identification, qualification, regulatory submissions, and contract progression.
• Assess risks, develop mitigation, and escalate issues to support on-time delivery.
• Track site activation metrics and communicate status to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop site activation plans with project teams and reflect study requirements in budgets.
• Mentor Site Activation Managers and contribute to SOPs and best practices.
