Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start-up and activation of clinical research sites across complex programs. You will act as the accountability lead, collaborating with sponsors, regulatory teams and sites to ensure readiness, compliance, and timely study delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical, medical biology, physical, health, pharmacy, or related field; or two-year degree plus four years clinical research exp.
• Minimum seven years of CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience in start-up, project management, site management or related CRF fields.
• Strong leadership, PM, planning, organizational and decision-making skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Thorough understanding of clinical trial start-up, site activation processes, and project execution.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP and FDA/EU/regulations applicable to trials.
• Ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and spoken English; proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee study start-up and site activation activities across assigned projects.
• Serve as primary contact for site activation deliverables, timelines, and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical path on time and within budget.
• Monitor site identification, qualification, essential documents, regulatory submissions, and contracts.
• Assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues to keep study delivery on track.
• Track and report site activation metrics, milestones, and project status to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain site activation plans with accurate work scope and budgets.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, bid defenses, and business development tasks.
• Coach and mentor Site Activation Managers; support SOPs and best practices.
