Job summary

Ainsley Search Group is seeking a Supply Chain Manager with seasoned tenure in S&OP, materials planning, purchasing, and logistics management for a Global Aerospace Manufacturer in Montgomery County. The role reports to the Head of Operations and leads a team across planning, logistics and procurement to streamline material flows and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field.
• Experience as Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager or S&OP Manager, preferably in chemicals/materials/food.
• Solid knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Hands-on leadership to motivate a team.
• Experience managing overseas and domestic vendors, multiple plants and external warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Supply Chain Team (Logistics, Purchasing, Production Scheduler, Inventory).
• Develop and implement a S&OP process to improve forecast accuracy and production scheduling.
• Improve inventory KPI, optimize safety stock to avoid shortages.
• Manage overseas and domestic vendors, assess KPI, root-cause issues to improve on-time deliveries.
• Drive cost, quality and lead-time improvements across logistics and suppliers.
• Collaborate with 3PL on import/export and domestic shipments to optimize routes and methods.
• Support sourcing, negotiations and contracts; assess space for new products.
• Onboard new external warehouses to shorten lead times and raise service levels.
