Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO, seeks a Lead Software Engineer-Simulation (Level 5) to lead the TDK framework and related models on the Flight Simulation | Labs team. You will guide design, verification, and integration of high‑fidelity simulations used across defense platforms, acting as a senior technical advisor to stakeholders and program teams.

The role requires deep experience in C/C++, Java, embedded real-time software, and modeling/simulation, with leadership and customer-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and security clearance eligibility.
• Extensive experience with C/C++, Java and embedded real-time software.
• Strong modeling, simulation, and system testing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversees design, architecture, and development of simulation models and frameworks.
• Partners with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements and dynamics.
• Oversees design, modeling, testing, and analysis to optimize system performance.
• Reviews data collection and processing for simulations.
• Oversees validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software and tests.
• Reviews documentation of code, algorithms, specs for simulation models.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation with hardware.
• Adopts current and emerging technologies and methods in simulation.
• Modernizes and migrates simulation software for new operating systems.
• Oversees project management functions for simulation software.
• Advises management on best practices for simulation environments.
