Job summary

Boeing Defense Space & Security in Berkeley, MO seeks an Experienced Electrical Design Engineer for Flight Simulation Labs. This contract role focuses on developing hardware interfaces and simulation environments for Boeing programs, engaging with customers onsite and guiding the full product lifecycle from requirements to integration and testing.

The position emphasizes collaboration with avionics and mission-systems teams, utilizing Agile practices and PM tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or mission systems is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile software development and Jira is desired.
Experience managing projects using standard PM tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements with customers.
Translate requirements into hardware, software, and interface designs.
Test and validate designs to meet operations and functional needs.
Monitor supplier performance for system integration and compliance.
Support fielded hardware/software across the full product lifecycle.
Research technology advances for potential application to Boeing projects.
