Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Flight Simulation Labs. This onsite role leads project execution across design, test and integration of flight simulators for military programs. Strong PM, leadership, and EV/MS growth required; US citizenship, ability to obtain clearance, and travel up to 10% may apply.

You'll collaborate with Navy/USAf teams and support proposals, scheduling, and performance metrics in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 5+ years of project management or project scheduling experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading a team or a project.
• 3+ years building relationships with internal/external customers.
• 3+ years managing capital projects.
• Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution in design, procurement, building, integration and testing of Flight Simulators and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multiple teams in fast-paced, agile environments to meet critical dates.
• Direct proposal development and define activities, resources and milestones to complete the work.
• Provide technical, business and integration leadership for project plans and delivery.
• Delegate tasks to team members while ensuring technical correctness of products and services.
• Produce estimates supporting earned value management (CAM) and baselines.
• Assess project performance against baseline plans, efficiencies and lessons learned.
• Engage with Boeing program personnel and external Navy/USAF personnel as needed.
• Drive process improvements and support problem resolution.
