Job summary

MaziCTools seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize simulation and tooling applications in a collaborative environment. You will write robust C# code, apply OO design, and work with agile teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities include writing simulation code, documenting software for developers and users, and supporting internal engineering partners. A strong problem-solving mindset and experience with Visual Studio, Git, and CI tools are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience including C#
• Proficiency in object-oriented design principles
• Willingness to learn new technologies and languages
• Ability to troubleshoot with little notice
• Ability to prioritize and switch roles while maintaining high performance
• Flexibility with work schedule
• Strong written/verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Proven problem solving and decision making skills
• Proficiency with engineering software and environments (e.g., Visual Studio)
• Experience with Agile practices (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and CI tools like GitLab CI
• Working knowledge of industrial automation equipment

Responsibilities

• Write code for simulation applications for internal engineering and creative partners.
• Collaborate with WDI and other teams to identify requirements and use cases for tools applications.
• Create detailed documentation for software for developers and users.
• Help users troubleshoot and resolve bugs in deployed software and models.
• Provide hardware/software expertise to multi-disciplinary team to influence designs.
• Analyze simulation results and suggest improvements to system design.
• Develop and review mechanical and system-level simulations using various tools.
• Manage simulation projects, schedules, budgets, and design plans.
• Delegate work to colleagues and ensure productivity on projects.
• Demonstrate time management for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Review components/usages, define system requirements, and coordinate cross-discipline testing and commissioning.
