Job summary

Onebrief is hiring a Staff Simulation Data Modeler to own the AtomEngine entity catalog end to end, including sources, formulas, tooling, and test coverage. You will direct AI agents for first-pass research, data entry, and testing at scale, while focusing on what is right, where the catalog is weakest, and how to prove correctness.

Qualifications

• Ability to direct AI agents, write instructions, and supervise data entry.
• Comfort with quantitative modeling of weapon effects, fuel, survivability.

Responsibilities

• Catalog strategy across catalog segments; build and maintain a structured catalog.
• Prioritize catalog segments with customer feedback.
• Research sources and codify governing principles.
• Develop defensible formulas for weapon, sensor effects, and fuel burn; work with Engineering.
• Create and maintain a network of subject matter experts.
• Agent-directed production: design prompts, review loops, guardrails.
• Lead VV&A across segments; ensure accuracy and testing.
• Organize competitive wargames to stress-test entities.
• Lead documentation standards and knowledge articles.
• Mentor analysts on tradecraft and VV&A.
• Note that role evolves with workflows.
