Job summary

Onebrief is seeking a Staff Simulation Data Modeler to own the AtomEngine catalog end to end, directing AI agents to research and construct entities at scale.

You will codify standards and parametric formulas for weapon and sensor effects, test against wargames, and defend models to customers and SMEs.

You will collaborate with Customer Relations, Engineering, and Content Creators to ensure accuracy, breadth, and credible simulations for real-world military problems.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills to resolve incomplete data.
• Ability to direct AI agents and orchestrate first-pass research.
• Comfort with quantitative modeling and defensible formulas.
• Clear written and verbal communication for standards.
• A wargamer's mindset to test credibility of simulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead catalog strategy across multiple catalog segments.
• Define and enforce governing principles for entity creation.
• Direct automated tests and VV&A to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Engineering on testing and tools.
• Mentor analysts and share tradecraft.
