Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a senior engineer to improve the reliability, performance, and user experience of the high-performance computing infrastructure that supports silicon development.

This role sits at the intersection of EDA, distributed systems, CI/CD, and developer productivity. The engineer will help teams run simulations, verification, and other workloads with fewer failures and faster feedback in a hybrid setup based in Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA.

Qualifications

• Hold an advanced engineering degree (BS, MS, or PhD) in EE/ECE/CS or related field with 7+ years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Git branch strategies, merge conflicts, and repository management practices.
• Practical working knowledge of SQL databases, data query optimization, and modern data technologies.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to improve testing and debugging.
• Systems-oriented engineer who elevates productivity by removing developer friction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable build, execution, and simulation flows for verification, functional safety, formal analysis, and EDA processes.
• Analyze system performance bottlenecks and workload patterns to optimize throughput and reduce wait times.
• Build resilient, monitored services with automated recovery, diagnostics, and CI/CD feedback loops.
• Develop AI-agent workflows, tools, and reusable skills to accelerate problem-solving in software development and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert recurring hardware/software failures into durable solutions.
