Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a senior engineer to improve the reliability, performance, and user experience of the high-performance computing infrastructure that supports silicon development. This role sits at the intersection of EDA, distributed systems, CI/CD, and developer productivity, helping teams run simulations, verification, coverage, and other silicon workloads with fewer failures.

The position is hybrid, based out of Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA, with interview-based leveling.

Qualifications

Advanced engineering degree in EE/ECE/CS.
7+ years of hands-on industry experience.
Experience with Git branching strategies and debugging operational failures.
SQL databases and data-query optimization knowledge.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows.
Systems-oriented approach to unblock teams and boost productivity.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain reliable build, execution, and simulation flows for verification and EDA.
Analyze performance bottlenecks and workloads to improve throughput.
Develop resilient services with automated recovery and diagnostics for CI/CD.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fix recurring hardware/software failures.
Advance AI-agent workflows and reusable tools to accelerate development and testing.
