Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Signal Integrity Architect to develop high-performance SI solutions for data center servers, focusing on CXL and GPIO/LSIO interfaces across PCB and system levels.

You will collaborate with platform, software, packaging, and product teams to define, analyze, and verify SI requirements, develop models, and contribute to SI guidelines and customer-facing collateral, driving innovative design methodologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with SI focus.
• 8+ years of SI analysis, simulation, and measurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of PDN, EMIR, transmission line theory, crosstalk, S-parameters and channel simulations.
• Expertise in CXL 2.0/3.0 specifications and/or PCIe Gen5+ SerDes standards.
• Experience with GPIO/LSIO SI characterization and design guidelines.
• Familiarity with PCIe, CXL, USB, Ethernet, etc., SerDes standards.
• Experience owning end-to-end SI methodologies across packaging and PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Own SI analysis, simulation, and design closure for CXL interfaces.
• Collaborate with SoC, packaging, and system design teams on high-end server interconnects.
• Contribute to SI guidelines and PCB stack-up decisions.
• Develop full-topology SI models, simulations, and final designs.
• Perform SI analysis on 2.5D/3D structures and establish design guidelines for packaging.
• Own GPIO/LSIO SI guidelines including SPI, I3C, and related interfaces.
• Support customer-facing SI collateral and reference materials.
• Develop design automation tools and set direction for SI methodologies.
