Job summary

KBR is seeking a Payload Specialist – SIGINT to provide System Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) for a leading-edge SIGINT satellite systems program. You will bring deep SIGINT payload expertise and apply systems engineering principles to highly classified programs, communicating complex content to government leadership.

Location is on-site with potential travel; you will advise, design, and analyze payloads and antenna solutions, interfacing with Government organizations and prime

Qualifications

• TS/SCI Poly clearance is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
• 10 years DoD/IC or relevant payload/space systems experience.
• Experience with SIGINT payloads and space systems.
• Experience integrating satellite bus and payloads.
• Ability to perform SETA for Government program offices.
• 5 years of Government acquisition initiative experience.
• Familiarity with Intelligence Community policies and IC organizations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise Government program management on technical design, trade space and mission solutions for SIGINT payloads.
• Support design, interpretation, and analysis of payload performance for complex SIGINT systems.
• Develop system architectures, requirements and design trades with cost, schedule and tech impacts.
• Conduct technical analyses of system solutions, limitations and performance.
• Evaluate new antenna technologies and enhancements.
• Review specifications, ICDs and system-level requirements for payload/antenna integration.
• Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Interface with prime/subcontractors and Government organizations to validate design and testing.
