Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team seeks a Space Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to provide SETA services for systems engineering activities and space-system protection. On-site role with minimal travel, competitive compensation, and a broad benefits package is offered.

Qualified candidates hold TS/SCI with polygraph, STEM degrees, and SE process experience; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to align complex government programs with operational needs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or relevant field and 3+ years experience; Masters in STEM or relevant field and 1+ year experience.
• Experience in systems engineering processes (SE lifecycle, risk management, change management).
• Strong understanding of integrating Government capabilities into operations baseline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Directly contribute to government’s mission success through analysis, thought leadership and proactive action.
• Assist in planning and oversight of the government’s systems engineering efforts.
• Support space protection and mission integration as directed by the government.
• Review documentation and represent government interests in forums that support delivery and standardization.
