Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a highly technical Staff Technical Support Engineer for FortiSIEM to provide advanced enterprise-level support and troubleshooting for complex customer environments. The role requires deep Linux/Windows expertise, virtualization, network security, and cloud awareness, with on-site work in Sunnyvale.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management of support cases, live production troubleshooting, and creating knowledge base articles to empower customers and peers.

Qualifications

• At least 6-8 years of relevant industry experience.
• 3-4 years of network support experience (NOC, SOC, support).
• Experience in 24x7 operation support environments.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for FortiSIEM via voice calls, email, and support ticket system.
• Own full lifecycle of support cases: troubleshooting, collecting configuration data, deploying in-house lab, and documenting solutions.
• Perform live troubleshooting with customers on production environments.
• Escalate to senior engineers when needed and manage customer expectations.
• Write knowledge base articles.
