Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialty in Power Electronics.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in power electronics design, semiconductor application engineering, or power laboratory validation.
• Strong proficiency in power electronics schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
• Experience with EMI/EMC mitigation and high-voltage safety practices.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as PLECS, LTSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Drive integration of SiC power devices into complete field-ready solutions using power electronics building blocks.
• Design, model, and validate scalable, cost-effective Power Electronics Building Blocks (PEBBs) and platforms.
• Lead high-voltage laboratory testing to characterize SiC devices and power modules (DPT, SOA, short-circuit tests).
• Optimize device performance within advanced power conversion architectures using simulations.
• Create technical documentation (notes, manuals, white papers) to accelerate client design cycles.
• Collaborate with R&D, fabrication, and product teams to influence future roadmaps.
