Job summary

Cactus Materials, based in Tempe, Arizona, seeks a Senior SiC Power Semiconductor Designer to lead the architecture, simulation, and packaging of next-generation SiC power modules. You will shape module design, drive EMI controls, and optimize thermal performance for high-reliability environments.

This role requires deep experience in high-power packaging, FEA tooling, and collaboration with wafer fabrication and back-end assembly teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years designing high-power SiC power modules.
• Strong packaging and high-voltage isolation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, simulation and packaging of SiC power modules.
• Perform EMI/parasitic extraction and electromagnetic modeling.
• Conduct multi-physics thermal and stress analysis for reliability.
• Select advanced materials and participate in DFM with manufacturing.
• Prototype validation, testing, and qualification activities.
