Job summary

SK hynix memory solutions America Inc. is seeking a driven Signal/Power Integrity Engineer to develop next-generation SSD products.

You will provide SI/PI expertise for SoC substrate and PCB design, and work with cross-functional teams to verify high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen4/5/6, DDR4/5, and NVMe. The role requires hands-on lab measurements, pre- and post-layout simulations, and strong fundamentals in EM tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 4-8+ years of relevant working experience.
• High-speed SSD board designs, pre and post layout simulation.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers on SI/PI topics.
• Provide SI/PI for SSD controller package and PCB design.
• Participate in design review, validation, and reporting of designs.
• Define stack-up and HDI via technologies; set routing constraints.
• Interface with SoC, FW, package, and circuit design teams.
• Document and communicate results to design, product, and exec teams.
• Debug and root cause analysis across development stages and escalations.
