Job summary

The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising repairs in Electrical/Electronic Systems Integration aboard ships (DDG-51 class). The candidate must be ready for 24/7 on-call support, travel worldwide, and manage subcontractors and ship forces to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising shipboard Electrical/Electronic Systems Integration on DDG-51 ships.
• Experience with 4160 ACV power systems and Navy waterfront maintenance knowledge.
• Bachelor-level engineering degree or BIW apprenticeship with related shipbuilding expertise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety regulations compliance and promote proactive safety culture.
• Lead onboard Fleet Service activities and supervise repair projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and Ship's Force to complete work on schedule.
• Provide continuous improvement via BIW processes and practices.
