General Dynamics – Bath Iron Works is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Waterfront Engineering Organization in developing ship power, lighting, and control systems for shipboard use. Responsibilities include supporting development, manufacturing, integration and testing of electrical systems across multiple disciplines.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience for Sr. Engineer levels, or 12+ years for Principal Engineer levels, and 20+ years for Sr.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or P.E. is preferred.
• Experience with power and controls engineering is required.

Aufgaben

• Develop ship power and controls system revisions and updates across disciplines and with vendors.
• Perform requirements analyses, decomposition, and resolution of conflicts.
• Support manufacturing, testing, commissioning, dock and sea trials, and vendor qualification testing.
