General Dynamics – Bath Iron Works in Bath, ME seeks an Electrical Engineer to support development, manufacturing, integration, and testing of shipboard power, lighting, and controls systems. The role requires collaboration with Navy and BIW teams and review of vendor documentation.

A BS in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master's or PE is preferred. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required. This is an on-site role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Master's degree or PE preferred.
• Power and controls engineering knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Develop ship power and controls system revisions and updates.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, testing, and vendor equipment.
• Review vendor equipment and drawings for compliance.
• Interface with Navy, customers, and design teams to support testing and trials.
• Develop process improvements and cost-out initiatives.
