Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton is seeking a Columba S1B Program Rep, Senior/Specialist/Principal to manage the COLUMBIA S1B Design Program lead ship and contract, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality.

You will communicate with contract leads, technical leads, and NAVSEA/NNL stakeholders, oversee planning and budgeting, and mentor junior staff. A DOD Secret clearance is required; travel is possible and occasional.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of relevant experience in program and/or project management is required.
• Active DOD Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Self-starter capable of prioritizing work and managing time with limited supervision.
• Exhibit strong planning, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to manage data and create reports from various data systems.
• Ability to communicate across multiple EB organizations and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of manpower schedules, phasing files, and EVM metrics.
• Manage program funding and oversee annual work planning and estimates.
• Coordinate responses to emergent design issues and drive timely solutions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Program Reviews and customer interactions.
• Some travel may be required (<10%).
