Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a COLUMBIA Project Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of Module Leads and foreman support engineers on the SSBN 826 construction program. You will drive technical guidance, coordinate across engineering and operations, and help ensure on-time module delivery.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering and at least 4 years post-graduate engineering experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to navigate complex shipyard

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
Minimum of 4 years of post graduate engineering experience.
Knowledge of Teamcenter and COLUMIAClass design is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Module Leads and General Foreman Support Engineers with strong technical performance and communication.
Oversee engineering responses to emergent shipyard issues and communicate assessments clearly to leadership.
Direct daily support to trades for disclosures, work packages, and clarifications.
Prioritize and track drawing revisions, change notices, and engineering actions to support schedules.
Participate in production meetings and report holdups, risks, and actions.
