Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a Test Readiness Program Representative Sr/Specialist/Principal to provide focused program oversight of COLUMBIA Class test readiness, including coordination among engineering, facilities, test, inspection, planning, and operations.

The ideal candidate has deep technical understanding of submarine systems, strong leadership, and proven ability to brief senior leadership on status and risks, while maintaining quality, schedule, and cost

Qualifications

Solid understanding of the systems under test and programmatic needs.
Experience with Microsoft products suite and PowerBI.
Effective communication to EB levels and customers, both verbal and written.
Commitment to driving employee development, process improvement, and knowledge capture/transfer.
Ability to identify risk areas and develop mitigations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily technical and administrative program management for COLUMBIA Class test readiness.
Prioritize EB and government testing support.
Coordinate reach-back with EB technical experts to resolve issues quickly.
Provide weekly/daily reports of issues and actions to Program Management.
Deliver leadership briefings to EB management and customers with metrics.
Drive test readiness through pre-requisites into ARTEMIS network by updating Advance Planning.
Manage Change Notices affecting key events.
