Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Senior Supervisor in Medford, OR to own on-shift operations across multiple rooms. You will convert the daily plan into labor assignments, lead huddles, and drive throughput while ensuring safety, quality, and accurate recordkeeping.

You will coach Supervisors and hourly staff, conduct performance reviews, and escalate incidents with root-cause countermeasures. Weekend/overtime flexibility and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and operational systems.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to work in a production/warehouse environment with exposure to dust, allergens, varying temperatures, loud noise, and occasional fumes or chemicals.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime; safety-sensitive role with drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Convert daily plan into shift-level labor assignments across rooms; approve cross-room rebalancing to protect throughput and changeover timing.
• Lead start-of-shift huddles; communicate targets, risks, and countermeasures; verify boards are maintained.
• Monitor shift attainment; direct recovery plans including resequencing and reallocation of resources.
• Coach Supervisors, Crew Leads, and Team Leads; ensure training matrices are current.
• Deliver performance reviews and administer corrective actions; maintain confidentiality.
• Enforce safety, GMP, and allergen controls; verify holds, line clearance, and documentation.
