Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain stamping dies, cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures by operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD drawings to plan, measure, and mark metal stock with precision.
• Troubleshoot and adjust tools and dies in presses, collaborating with Press Operators for setup and functionality.
• Conduct test runs and inspect finished parts, making adjustments to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Select metals and alloys, perform heat-treating operations, and develop specs for specialty tools as needed.
