Lake Air Products in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Technician to fabricate, repair, and maintain stamping dies, cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures. You will interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to plan, measure, and mark metal stock with precision.

The ideal candidate has an A.A. in Tool & Die, 5+ years of experience, and strong collaboration skills. This on-site role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a fast-moving environment with safety as a priority.

• 5+ years experience in tool & die.
• Excellent people skills with ability to partner.
• Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment with solution focus.
• Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds; read fine print and colors.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain stamping dies, cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures by operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD drawings to plan, measure, and mark metal stock with precision.
• Troubleshoot and adjust tools and dies in presses, collaborating with Press Operators for setup and functionality.
• Conduct test runs and inspect finished parts to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Select metals/alloys and perform heat-treating operations; develop specs or designs for specialty tools as needed.
