Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of tool building experience or equivalent preferred.
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker card preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specs.
• Strong dimensional accuracy and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, alter, and maintain metal stamping dies and tooling.
• Plan, lay out, and perform bench and machine operations from drawings.
• Perform precision bench work, alignment, calibration, and finishing.
• Build tooling from concepts when designs are unavailable.
• Troubleshoot progressive dies and implement improvements.
• Respond to tooling issues from the production floor.
• Perform preventive maintenance and efficient repairs.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and inspection tools.
• Maintain quality, workmanship, and dimensional accuracy.
• Support quality audits and documentation.
• Follow 5S, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
