Job summary

Lake Air Products in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Technician to fabricate, repair, and maintain stamping dies, cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures. You will interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to plan, measure, and mark metal stock with precision.

The ideal candidate has an A.A. in Tool & Die, 5+ years of experience, and strong collaboration skills. This on-site role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a fast-moving environment with safety as a priority.

• Troubleshoot and adjust tools and dies in presses, collaborating with Press Operators for setup and functionality.
• Conduct test runs and inspect finished parts to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Select metals/alloys and perform heat-treating operations; develop specs or designs for specialty tools as needed.

• Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Perform repetitive work for more than 10 hours per day, including weekends.
• Read the fine print and distinguish colors.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
