Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a SharePoint UX Designer in Clearwater, FL to craft engaging, user-centered digital workplace experiences across SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

You will partner with stakeholders, content owners, and developers to design modern intranets, collaboration portals, knowledge hubs, and communication sites that boost employee engagement and productivity. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.
• Certifications in UX, usability, accessibility, or design preferred.
• 5+ years in UX design, digital workplace solutions, SharePoint Online, or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience designing SharePoint Online intranets, collaboration sites, and knowledge management.
• Experience developing site structures, navigation, taxonomy, metadata, and content governance.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business, user, and technical requirements for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 initiatives.
• Design wireframes, mockups, page layouts, navigation models, site maps, and interactive prototypes.
• Create intuitive information architecture, taxonomy, metadata models, and content organization strategies.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, workshops, and user research activities.
• Apply UX best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design system principles.
• Support usability testing and collect user feedback to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with SharePoint developers, Microsoft 365 admins, communications teams, and business stakeholders.
• Present design concepts and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Contribute to development of digital workplace design standards and templates.
